Something wonderful

It was the perfect weather. But, when you sat beside me, I didn't know what to call it anymore. That moment surpassed perfection.

That yesternight, I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought I saw your name flash on my phone screen. I thought it must have been a mistake and my phone's acting up again. But, upon opening the message - after 5 minutes that felt like a million years, my heart leapt out of its cage. It really was from you. "Goodnight.. :)", you said. That moment I thought I died and went to heaven.

We had a bit of small talk or whatever you wanna call it. Then finally, I told you I was in elbi and I kind of asked you to hang out. You readily said sure. At this point, my heart was already doing cartwheels. The date was set and our goodnights were said.

I tossed and turned because I couldn't sleep. I close my eyes but I still see your face. I had dinosaurs in my stomach because of all the anxiety of this moment...

It is the perfect weather. But now, with you sitting beside me, I don't know what to call it anymore. This moment is beyond perfection.
